Tamayo's Ozeano Fussion Restaurant: My first Practicum

Who wants some pizza?? hehe. I had my first practicum in Tamayo's Ozeano Fusion Restaurant located at 2nd level of Manila Ocean Park.

We stop working for a while, just to pose for a picture taking. hehe.

I really enjoyed my practicum there. I'm very comfortable with ths men and they always make me laugh.

Don't have dull days when I am working there. 

250 hours with them was really worth while. :)

 Tamayo's Ozeano Fusion Restaurant owned by Steve Tamayo the owner also of Tamayo's Catering. The concept of this restaurant inspired on Sofitel's Le Bar.

But this is cheaper than Le Bar.

May Flower, blooming in the month of June??

That is May flower. Can't resist to take a photo of these beautiful flower. Planted by my Uncle Alger in Ilocos Norte. Very refreshing to look at right??

I can't forget this moment when I ask my lola (grandmother) if what kind of flower was that.

Me: Lola, what kind of flower is that?
Lola: That's May flower, blooming in every month of june...

Tengeneng!!!

Me: Huh?? ang labo..

Toinks!! Hahaha!!

But she has a point. Maybe because of climate change that's why instead the flower will bloom in month May, it will be bloom in month of June.

Sorbetes Flower in Ilocos Norte

That is not a flower. That is a dirty ice cream!! Very colorful, cute and yummy!! You can have that in Ilocos Norte only.

Touch Point: Top Hits Series

Maybe its your LSS (last song syndrome) last night. For some young people it's their theme song. But usually, its the song of many young hearts. Why don't we take a closer look at it...not at the songs...but their hearts.
Pastor Robert will preach later the last topic, Rolling in the deep. It's gonna be exciting, heart touching preaching will happen. I pray that God will touch the heart of many students and young adults there. I'm so excited to what God will gonna reveal later.!! See you there!! :)

Volunteer's Appreciation Night

 

  

It was December 2010 when that photo was taken in Volunteer's Appreciation Night in Every Nation, Victory Church, The Fort, Taguig City.

I was a volunteer teacher in preteens ministry that time. That's Ate Bess, the girl beside me. She is also a volunteer teacher there up to until now. I have a paint on my face to show a support to our ministry for our presentation that night. It is a contest. The Lion King movie was our theme that's why the paint on my face looks like that. Hehehehe!! And guess what!! We won!!! Very happy that night. Sayang walaakong video nung performance nila. I hope there are more Appreciation Night will come. :)

California Pizza Kitchen: My practicum. Bow!

I had my 750 hours practicum in CPK Rockwell Philippines .( yes! you read it right! 750 hours!! Hahaha! )
I really enjoyed my practicum there for 3 months from December 2010 to February 2011. I really learned a lot from that company. I learned that the American standard restaurants are very meticulous, in the quality of food, very clean store, high quality of service, standard tools and equipments in cooking, they put day dots in ingredients so they will know when will it expires, they use different colors of chopping board to avoid the food contamination, QA every quarter and so on. Super duper high quality. Very delicious foods and beverages. You should try eat in CPK guys!! :D
